They were discovered in New Caledonia in 1866. They were thought to be extinct until their rediscovery in 1994. These creatures are nocturnal but can still be played with and seen during the day. They are arboreal creatures. Creested Geckos can live 15-20 years. (I can take it to college) They prefer to live alone rather than with other geckos.
When you get a 20 gallon LONG tank, you want to put the screen on and flip it over on its side. This will make it a tall tank instead of a long tank. Like I said, they like to climb. This will cost around $39.

A thing you may not thought of is "how warm is it in New Caledonia?" It may shock you that the lowest all year is around 65°F and the highest it gets is 73°F. That is fairly cool. Look! Our house is 65°F!
